Powering the Move to Sustainable Fleets

We have recently completed a project in Kent involving the installation of electrical charging

infrastructure to support a client’s growing fleet of electric clamp trucks.

This project forms part of the client’s wider strategy to transition away from diesel-powered

material handling equipment and supports their objective of achieving Net Zero by 2030.

Electrical Infrastructure Installation Project Overview

Our team was responsible for the design and installation of a safe, compliant, and future-

ready electrical system capable of supporting a growing fleet of electric clamp trucks.

The installation was engineered to meet current operational demand while allowing sufficient

capacity for future expansion. Careful planning and coordination ensured the works were

delivered efficiently, safely, and with minimal disruption to the client’s day-to-day operations.

Enabling Practical Sustainability

Fleet electrification is a practical and effective way to reduce carbon emissions while

improving long-term operational efficiency.

By installing the correct electrical infrastructure from the outset, businesses can adopt

electric vehicles with confidence, knowing their systems are reliable, compliant, and built to

last.

This project demonstrates how well-designed electrical installations can play a key role in

supporting sustainability targets without compromising performance or resilience.

Delivered on Site

The images below show elements of the installation carried out on site, including the

electrical infrastructure installed to support the new charging facilities.

Moving Forward

We continue to work with our clients across the region to deliver electrical infrastructure that

supports the transition to low-carbon technologies.

From design through to installation and commissioning, our focus remains on providing

solutions that are practical, robust, and fit for purpose.

Thanks to All Involved

We would like to thank everyone involved in the successful delivery of this project, including

our site team, project managers, supply chain partners, and the client. Strong collaboration

and clear communication were key to completing the works safely and efficiently.
