Supporting the Community: Lyons Electrical Charity Work at Silchester Village Hall

Recently, our team had the privilege of carrying out essential charity work at Silchester Village Hall, a cornerstone of the community that plays host to a wide range of groups, events, and activities. The hall is used and valued by people of all ages, making it vital that its facilities remain safe, reliable, and fit for purpose.

Enhancing Safety and Visibility at Silchester Village Hall

As part of our ongoing commitment to community support, Lyons Electrical volunteered to install a new external floodlighting to improve safety and visibility around the hall. The upgraded lighting enhances the user experience during evening events, boosts security, and ensures visitors always feel welcomed and supported. 

The installation included:

• High quality external floodlighting to provide bright, reliable illumination

• A separate PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor to activate lighting automatically when motion is detected

• A manual override switch to give hall users complete flexibility and control This thoughtful setup provides the perfect balance of convenience, energy efficiency, and user-friendly functionality, delivering light exactly when and where it’s needed most.
