High Voltage:
Lyons Electrical does not limit itself to L.V. installations and is able to offer its clients a full design and installation of HV/LV systems, both temporary and permanent. This ability became very useful to our Japanese clients, the Aoki Corporation when excavating two sections of the underground Jubilee Line in the City of London where 6 megawatts of power supplies were temporarily installed by us.

Very Heavy Industrial Installations:
All aspects of industrial installations are undertaken throughout the U.K. and indeed overseas regardless of there size. As an example we list the design and installation of 4 megawatts of LV power supplies installed for the construction of the Kent based Bluewater Shopping Centre.

Hazardous Areas:
Throughout its years of trading Lyons Electrical has been responsible for many aspects of hazardous/explosive area working and indeed currently maintain petro/chemical sites on an annual basis for our valued clients.

Marine Installations:
Our company can proudly testify to completing a whole host of marine electrical installations. To name but a few, we would list: The Millennium Dome Pier (opened by her majesty the Queen). The SeaCat Terminal in Dover, the Olau Ferry Line in Sheerness Kent and the now well-known Westminster to Southwark Hungerford Bridge London.

Commercial Installations:
Commercial and Industrial installations form the backbone of the company’s day to day works. Our commercial side covers all manner of works including factory and office installations, amenity-lighting and even the Christmas lighting of towns.

Data Installations:
The design and installation of data cabling is a common request from our clients to complete the administration side to their business. Generally Local Area Network (LAN) cabling is installed beneath suspended floors or within the framework of the building, supplying computers and telephones via panel mounted patch panels.

CCTV Installations:
Shopping centres, Business premises, Car-parks, and Private houses Lyons Electrical has designed and fitted cameras to many varied sites, all with their own characteristics and idiosyncrasies. Connected to 24 hour recorders, infrared sensors and linked to powerful floodlighting if required, we are able to provide the necessary security measures for ease of mind today. An example is our recent involvement with the CCTV installation for the City of Westminster.

Continual or Periodical Maintenance:
We as a company are able to offer a fully tailored maintenance program to suit individual customer’s requirements. This could very well be outside the client’s own hours of working or indeed over an annual shutdown period. Whatever the need Lyons Electrical will be able to develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance program to maximise our client’s productivity and electrical safety and minimise any possible downtime.

Building Management Services:
Industrial, Commercial or Domestic; whatever the need, our company is able to offer a tailored installation to fully automate lighting, power equipment, data, security, or entertainment systems to operate interactively, providing ease of use and up to-date technology.

Domestic Installations:
Client’s requirements for the larger domestic installations in this day and age are rapidly changing. Our company is constantly requested to design IT networks and telephone installations on a “flood wiring” basis throughout premises. This together with home cinema and even computerised lighting is becoming a more common request along with all aspects of general domestic wiring.

Work-Site Temporary Installations:
Lyons Electrical carries an extensive stock of site temp distribution panels, 400/230 -110volt transformers and 110volt fluorescent/festoon lighting. Our mains panels can accept loads of up to 3,000amps on a three phase load distribution and all are supplied with earth leakage protection. We are able to respond urgently to any given emergency, or alternatively plan and install a long term temporary solution to an on going project.

An example of this is the Strood Railway Tunnel in Kent, where Lyons was responsible for the temporary power and lighting for the building works which lasted for more than a year.

All Types of Fire Alarm Installations:
Fire Alarm projects are also common place installs for our company, from single zone to multi-zone, conventional and addressable installations; we are able to offer our clients the complete range.

Design & Build to Client's Specifications:
We as a company are never happier than when we are contracted to provide a design for our customers. Very often we are employed to provide a complete design which is then used by our client to obtain estimates from contractors. Our designs come complete with all drawings, proven electrical calculations and budgets if required.

Portable Appliance Testing:
Computerised portable appliance testing is carried out on a regular basis by Lyons for our customers no matter what quantity. The individual tests taken on appliances are uploaded to our testing equipment and given an identity number; this is downloaded to an office computer and test record sheets are printed, a copy of which is provided to our client for verification of the safety of the individual devices and for continual annual monitoring of equipment.

Electrical Inspection & Tests:
Lyons Electrical offers a full test and inspection service to establish the safety of installations and ongoing Periodic Testing to identify any possible deterioration, regardless of how big or small. Full National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors (N.I.C.E.I.C.) certification is issued by Lyons Electrical on completion of any repair or install by our electricians.

Emergency Call-Out Service:
Our company provides a 24 hour seven day a week emergency call-out service, with a general attendance time of less than two hours.

All Lyons Electrical installations where appropriate come with Design Drawings, O&M Manuals and N.I.C.E.I.C. Certification.
